11 January 2019 - The area of opium poppy cultivation in Myanmar dropped to 37,300 hectares in 2018, down 10 per cent from the 41,000 hectares recorded in 2017, according to the Myanmar Opium Survey 2018 released today by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
